Gateway sub-project:

The Gateway sub-project was targeted at creating a part of TTCN-based testing environment in order to facilitate conformance testing of CORBA interfaces. Within a framework of this sub-project, a specification and implementation of CORBA/TTCN Gateway have been developed. CORBA/TTCN Gateway acts as an intermediary between test environment (TTCN) and system under test (CORBA interfaces). The Gateway functionality have been verified by 18 test cases specifically designed for that purpose.

Conformance Testing of CORBA Services using Tree and Tabular Combined Notation, 2000, by Alexey Mednonogov. This document was made for TestCom2000 conference on 29.8.-1.9.2000 in Ottawa. It presents a formal approach to conformance testing of CORBA-based distributed services using TTCN framework. It discusses mapping of CORBA IDL to TTCN, concentrating on the obstacles and the design issues to be considered. The paper overviwes the architecture of the CORBA/TTCN gateway, which acts as an intermediary between test environment and system under test (SUT).
