IP Management

IPMAN project was started in January, 1999, by Telecommunications Software and Multimedia Laboratory of Helsinki University of Technology. The objective of the project is to research how the increase of IP traffic affects the network architecture and network management. The project will research and develop a network management paradigm for massive IP networks. Today's routed IP networks suffer from serious problems related to scalability, manageability, reliability and cost.
