Project description

The idea of the project has developed from the needs of other research projects to test their research projects in practise during the projects. The aim of the IP2005 project is to utilize the other projects of Telecommunications Software and Multimedia laboratory of the Helsinki University of Technology and to survey the experiences of use. The project is divided into separate parts, which do research on the wireless network, user friendly multimedia communication, satellite office. The main focus is on the practical experiment and experiences, not so much on the technical development.

The research concentrates on:

-improving the prerequisites for the third-age to stay living home

-satellite office network

-visions of future services

-usability
